My story

Meet Colby! Colby is a three year old boy looking for a forever home! Colby was found as a very badly beaten up stray cat living in someone's backyard. Colby has all types of cuts and scrapes on his face when his rescuers found him. He also had a particularly large abscess on the side of his face. Colby had his abscess surgically fixed (which is why his face is shaved) and has completed his "healing process". Once we got to know Colby, it was easy to see why he was so beat up ... he's too sweet! Colby loves to be sweet-talked and pet. He is a total lover boy and has definitely relaxed into this strange new environment. Colby also does well around other cats. Colby is a gentle giant with a super playful side. He loves to twist and turn around in funny ways when people talk to him. He's a cat who appreciates being loved and cared for, even after living his whole life outside fighting to survive.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.
