Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let us introduce you to Mr. Biggs! This spiffy, very dapper gentleman is a gorgeous representative of the "old school" American Staffordshire Terriers, with more of the terrier petiteness than the more modern staff bulk. This handsome fellow is very active and has plenty of energy but does not require a lot of exercise as long as you don't give him too many treats!
Of course, he would prefer that you do give him treats. He is an especially big fan of chicken and duck jerky strips. Mr. Biggs is getting into upper-middle age and has very good manners with people. He is selective with other dogs but does just fine with any that are on the submissive end of things. He is very full of confidence and very inquisitive. He loves roaming around the yard and sniffing and checking things out.
Mr. Biggs lived most of his life first with his human papa and then with papa and mama when papa got married. But when the couple split, for some reason, papa did not take Mr. Biggs with him and mama surrendered him to the shelter. He was a good boy there, relaxed and great with the staff. He made lots of friends and when he was made available for rescue, they even pledged financial support!
This boy has lots of spring in his step and lots of quality life ahead. He is looking for a home where he can be indoors with his people a lot as that is what he seems to be used to. No kitties, however, as Mr. Biggs will chase! He is good on leash and would make a great walking companion for anyone interested in a well-mannered, house-trained dog.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.
We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
