My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie is a very sweet girl who is looking for her TRUE forever home. She was given up by a family close to two years ago, because they had to move and didn't want to take her with. She was brought into the rescue and adopted to what seemed like a rock solid home. After loving them for close to two years, they have decided they just don't have time for her. :(

When being dropped off at the foster home - she whimpered and paced wondering when her family was coming back. This sweet girl is FULLY trained and has no issues - yet here she is being dumped again.

This sweet gal needs and deserves a FOREVER home, one that will NOT give her up because something better comes along. Here is what her foster mom wrote of her:

Roxie is a beautiful yellow girl, she's tall and lean. She is very polite and quiet. She loves to sleep on her doggie bed, and hasn't jumped on any furniture. She's fully housetrained and I'm told she used a doggie door in the past, and I am working on training her to my automatic one now. She gets along great with my two other labs and cocker spaniel and I'm told spent about a year living with a German Sheppard. She hasn't shown any interest in my cats yet. She has no food or toy aggression. She does not seem to like the crate, although she doesn't bark while in it and can probably be easily trained to it.

She has lived with young children and again I'm told was great with them, although she isn't around children with me. Roxie is a great girl and needs someone to love her in a forever home.
