Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brandy, Seal & Latiffah are all from the same litter. Their mother was a Yellow Lab, and we believe they are mixed with some type of Bloodhound, but are not certain. Their approximate birthday is January 2007. Brandy's nickname is "the kissy kissy girl" because she can't stop licking the faces of all her foster roommates. Brandy is very sweet & playful. And she is absolutely crazy for belly rubs. She will flop over on the ground from a standing position right on top of your feet so you will have no misunderstanding she wants you to rub her belly and love on her. She is very active when she is in the play yard with all the other dogs at our foster home, but when she has one on one time with a human, either inside or going for a walk, she shifts gears into "little miss angel". When she has your undivided attention she responds with 100% focus on you and what you want. If you want her to walk, she follows all commands (heel, halt, sit, etc.) and will give you all the love and respect she can muster. Brandy does like to chase squirrels, and any cats outside who run. Inside cats who stand up to her, and aren't afraid to hiss or swat her when she gets out of line, and do not run, I don't believe would be a problem for her. Brandy is very intelligent, and would respond wonderfully to any formal obedience training. She is shy around strangers until whoever is holding the leash lets her know everything is OK, and then she starts her kissy kissy & belly flopping routine. Brandy and Latiffah may not be best for homes with small children only because they are larger dogs & could very easily knock a child down without meaning to. Brandy is in perfect health, and all our dogs are kept on monthly heart worm, flea & tick prevention medication, & microchipped. All our dogs are also crate trained, so when it's time for bed they sleep in their crate.
