Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit is a very special lady. She is approximately 5 years old, and for her entire life she has been loved, adored & spoiled by her owner/mother like no other dog has been. She had her very own Futon to sleep on, her own doggie door leading to her fenced potty area, and a constant supply of unconditional love. Unfortunately Bandit's owner/mother became seriously ill & had to undergo a double lung transplant. The doctors waited to advise her owner if she wanted to live a healthy life when she came home from the hospital the dog had to go. Can you imagine the horror of this situation? Poor Bandit who has never done anything wrong, now has to stay at home for 6 weeks by herself while her mother is in the hospital, having neighbors & friends to come by and feed & walk her. She has no idea why she has been abandoned or where her mother has gone. And now she is removed from her home and taken to some strange foster home. Bandit is the sweetest lady you have ever met. From the first second we and all of us at FAR, met Bandit she has been nothing but loving. Which is a miracle considering everything she has been through. Bandit is perfectly healthy, house trained - she lets you know when she needs to go out since she no longer has a doggie door. She also loves to go for walks on her leash. Bandit does like ALL the attention, though. She does not appreciate sharing & would best be suited to a one dog family. Bandit is showing some separation anxiety which is only to be expected considering her circumstances. So her new family will need to be prepared for an adjustment period once she finds a new forever home. Please help us to help Bandit. She deserves her very own home with just as much love as she originally had, and she will give you back that love tenfold!!
