Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there my name is Comet! I was brought into the local shelter as a stray and they think a car hit me because I had a broken bone in my front left leg. I am a sweet and silly 1 year old boy so the shelter decided to pay for my surgery. After my surgery I was ready to be adopted but no one came for me, the shelter didn’t give up on me and let me live there for 4 months which never happens! The day OCPBR came to get me was the happiest day! They took me to an awesome foster family that includes two foster dog sisters that I love to kiss and play with. I especially love to play tug-of-war with one of my foster sisters, we both know how to play fair! My foster mom teases me and says I’m a goofball, but she knows I am super smart! I am easy to teach new things too cause I love food and treats. I have already learned the commands touch, sit, stay, and shake. I am crate trained even though it’s not my favorite place and I am house-trained. Some of my favorite things to do are to go on walks, or on car rides and I always do my daily zoomies around the house! Because I spent so long at the shelter, I can be a little unsure of new friends so I sometimes will say hello with a little young dog bark…but once I meet them I know things are okay. I am looking for a forever home that will continue to help me build my confidence and learn how to be the best dog I can. If you are interested in meeting me, please email my friends at adopt@ocpbr.org.
