My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a victim of a live animal trap (leg/foot/snap trap). She came into Ginger's Fund at the request of Thomasville Officer Bingham after he was able to obtain her after weeks of trying to catch the injured girl. No one knows just how long Lady was stuck in the trap or where the trap and her missing paw is. Her paw is missing from her dew claw down and half of her tail was also missing with the bone exposed on the end.

Lady has been at the animal hospital under medical care. Her tail was repaired and she has also been spayed. Lady's dew claw on her missing paw was also removed and she was able to receive a prosthetic paw (removable device) so she could once again walk on all fours!

Lady is a very sweet girl who would love to have a wonderful family to call her own. She LOVES children, car rides and this girl would make an excellent therapy dog. She is fully vetted, Heartworm negative, micro-chipped and on prevention. Email us at GingersFund@live.com if you are interested in adopting Lady!
