Hi! My name is Delta! My foster says my full name is Delta Dawn. She gave me that pretty name because no one at the shelter knew my name. I am so happy in my foster home! My foster mom is a vet tech and she makes sure I am well taken care of!
Let me tell you about myself! I am about 7-8 months old, and one of my favorite things to do is follow my foster mom around and lay by her. I am a calm companion, but also very playful! I'm told I get just the right amount of excited.
I don't chew things I shouldn't, but love to chew on my toys! I'm housebroken, and am only in my crate when no one is home. I am perfect in the house the rest of the time.
I ride well in cars, and stayed perfectly on my blanket in the back of a Honda Pilot. I enjoy car rides!
I'm protective of my family and can be a little reserved at first, but once I know you I'm very friendly! I love big and little people and other animals.
I love chasing balls and playing chase with my fosters dog, and we run around and around the back yard.
When my foster mom and her daughter leave, I lay right by the door a while, and then go settle on a blanket by my foster dad.
I love to sleep in my foster's bed at night, on the floor by her bed on a blanket, or on her daughter's bed. I often get up and check on the daughter even when she falls asleep on the couch. I especially enjoyed going to the daughter's school with her! I got lots of attention from the children and adults! One of my favorite things is to just follow you around and lay by you.
I have had most of my shots, and have my final round on 5/28. I am Heartworm negative, and and was recently spayed. My foster mom tells everyone I am AWESOME and some family will be very lucky to have me as their special girl.
