My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Capturing the essence of SARA has been quite a challenge because she is such a spectacular dog - a volunteer photographer helped us. At approximately 16 months old, she captures the heart of everyone who meets her - whether it is through her clownish antics to get anything she knows you don't want to her get, bounding into the middle of the pool in one leap to get a ball, curling up in your lap for attention or cradling her favorite stuffed animal (a Toucan), Sara's exuberant personality is hard to express in words. Her foster has helped many Belgian Malinois over the years and says that SARA hands down is the most well-rounded dog. Yes, she'll need training because she is still a high-energy puppy and yes she is partially blind in one eye (which only adds to her specialness) but SARA is worth her weight (45 lbs of it) in gold for everyone ounce of time you spend with her. SARA is great with other dogs of all sizes - she is a regular at doggie day care - and has not met an adult or child that she doesn't like. SARA is only available for adoption to a Southern California home.
