Meet Gambit! Gambit is a 2yr old, 75lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix. He is a very sweet boy! Gambit was left behind at his home after his owner was placed in a nursing home. He spent 2 weeks in the empty home with his pitbull friend with very little or no human contact. Finally one of the family members reached out to our rescue for help. Gambit is great with other dogs, disinterested in cats and good with children though he would be best suited in a home with other kids due to his size and clumsiness. Gambit is also very obedient too; he knows sit, lay, stay, come and shake. He is a very happy dog that loves to play. He likes to go outside and lay in the sun. He gets very excited when meeting new people and when welcoming you home but his energy is not out of control. He likes to relax on the couch and he sleeps on a dog bed at the foot of his foster mom’s bed. Gambit is a wonderful dog and any family would be lucky to adopt him!

Adoption Costs: There is a $150.00 adoption fee to support the care and well being of all of our adoptable pets. Heavenly Paws of Michigan is a strong supporter of spay and neutering. Thank you for your interest in saving a shelter dog.
