Hi, my name is Freyja. I am very loving, affectionate, happy-go-lucky little girl, with a sweet, gentle personality. I love to play, but am very mellow and easy-going. I think I would be a great match (and an amazing catch!) for almost any kind of family that loves me as much as I would love them, a family with big people, with small people, with other dogs or no dogs, with cats or no cats. I'm 6 or 7 months old and weight about 12.5kg (just under 30lb.). The vet guessed I’ll be about 16-18kg when I am full grown.
I came to Earthdog with my two sisters, Twinkle and Lucy. The three of us were living outside, but that was pretty cold and we were pretty hungry. I am settling in wonderfully to the life of a family pet! You would never guess that I've only been living indoors since the end of February.
I love my new life and I’m discovering a whole list of my new favourite things! People are definitely #1 on my list, because I just love hanging out with my people and being close to them. Tummy rubs, back scratches, snuggling on the couch and sleeping beside you are just my very favourite things to do during the day! I also love my foster siblings. They are two cats! I wish they would play with me but, since they don't want to, I'm learning to be respectful. it's just that I really like them. I also really love breakfast and supper. Those might even be my favourite times of the days. So yummy!
I can't believe how good life is when you have people, treats and toys! Since I really want to please my people and be a good girl, I've been learning lots of new things very quickly. I can sit, lie down and come when I'm called in the house and the yard, especially if you have a treat for me! Oh and housetraining, I don't know what all the fuss is about! My foster parents say I’m making excellent progress (They say so many good things about me!). When they aren't home I am very good in my crate and I sleep on my pillow next to their bed at night.
I am learning and discovering so much in my new life, but the thing I would love most in the whole wide world is to find my very own forever family. A forever family I can cuddle with, play with, learn with and give all my love to that is my dream. I hope that forever family is you!
