My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tullia is a golden colored one year old lab/husky mix who is about 55lbs. Tullia is one of Velvet’s (also available for adoption) pups and is very much like her mom. She loves all people and gets so super excited when she sees you by wiggling her tush, wagging her tail and giving kisses, we wonder how in the world she coordinates it all. She is a super sweet pup and loves to run and play with other dogs.

Tullia loves supervised swimming and will make quite a splash jumping in for her toys or a ball. Tullia happily greets everyone that comes in the door with a toy in her mouth or her blanket to share with you or show you. Although she is a very active girl, when it’s time to settle down she will gather her toys and blankets, piling them up to get snuggie with when she’s tired. She is a love! She is fully housetrained and knows some basic commands. Tullia would do best with a fenced in back yard and cannot be walked off leash. Tullia would love an active home with another dog or family to play with and call her very own.

Your first step for adoption is to complete our adoption application at www.apathwaytohope.org. We will then screen your application through a vet reference check, phone interview (this is when you can ask all of your questions over the phone), reference checks (2) and a home visit. Our adoption donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccines and preventatives up to date per the dog's age, health check, fecal / deworming as needed and heartworm testing and treatment as needed. More details will be provided if you are being considered for adoption.
