My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

last Sunday at church, this little fellow was hanging around outside, very cold and desperate to get inside. We took him in our car and did several door knocks down two roads to see if we could find where he might belong. No luck.I called the local vet. Monday and left a description. No calls.

The county regulation allows him to be placed if he's unclaimed in 5 days so I am free to place him.

He's been staying with us and has been a super house guest but he's scared to death of our big dogs (I do boxer rescue and we have a lab/St. Bernard mix who's a huge fellow.)

By his build and personality, he appears to be a dachshund /jack russell mix so he is small (about 12 lbs) . no collar, no chip, he's been neutered. He is an adult, for sure, he has a few grey hairs on his muzzle. He's very well mannered and friendly toward people. Loves human companionship! He's doing well in the house and is completely housebroken. He loves to be a lap dog, walks well on a leash but he really doesn't need one. He goes with me all over our 30 acre farm and will stay pretty close and will come when he's called.

He loves car rides and is well mannered in the car!Do you know of anyone who can either foster him our would like to give him a wonderful forever home?
