My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherlock was a poor, skinny 9-month-old who came close to being killed at a shelter (adoptable animals are not euthanized, they are killed), Fortunately he found a great family with lots of love and hugs to give him. He quickly blossomed into a healthy playful boy. Another example of the power of love on cats. He is a lapcat and loves to help his mom work on her laptop. He adores fuzzy blankets that he can make a nest of. He will often nose his way under the covers since he is such an affectionate cuddler.

He's quirky and funny: he likes to play-fight and then cuddle up with his pal Fat Charlie (another cat). He is extremely playful and silly doing things like hiding behind curtains and pounce playing with Charlie. However, he is not getting along with the other cat they have. We are working with family on pheromone products which we have had smashing success with other cats who have been able to stay in their homes after all.

However, should this not work, we are recommending a house with a very young cat or kitten, or female cat. We will help with a slow introduction process and if for some reason things do not work out we will trade him for another cat in hopes that works better.
