My given name is Windy, but my foster parents call me "Pooh Bear." I think it comes from "Winnie the Pooh," because "Windy" sounds so much like "Winnie." I really love both names. My brothers and I have weather names. Their names are Stormy and Sunny.
We were born at my foster home when my parents were rescued from a man threatening to kill them. We have lived there our whole lives and are looking for homes of our own. My mama taught me well to be wary of anyone trying to trick me. Therefore, I am on alert for someone who is not there just to love me and accept me for who I am.
I make a special trilling meow when I talk. It is very feminine and makes my foster mom smile. You can hear me make it at the following site where a video was downloaded. See it at: http://youtu.be/VmW55vKH01w
Since I have lived in one home my whole life, it may take me a little while to get used to a new home. If you are trustworthy and love me, however, I will be the best kitty you could ever hope to know. With my intelligence and unique personality, I can be very endearing.
If you have specific questions about me, please email Purr-Fect Match at purrfectmatch13@gmail.com or call 920-234-5995. You can also fill out an adoption form with no obligation at http://purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. Folks at PFM will use the information to tell if I am a good match for you. For example, I should not go to a home with children. Give me a chance at a home of my own. Thank you for thinking of adopting a rescued pet!
