Presley’s a 7 year old, 8lb. male Yorkie-mix that came to United Yorkie Rescue in March 2014. During his time with United Yorkie Rescue, Presley has had some challenges with training and was going to a behaviorist for a while in an effort to accelerate his training and help foster mamma out. He's learning to listen to commands and that he needs to be invited to get on the couch or bed, and will get down when told to get down. He still has guarding issues with his treats and food, which is being worked on. Presley is crate trained (but would be a great bed snuggler if it’s ok with you), potty trained, and energetic but also has moments where he wants to be alone and does not like to be bothered, because of this he will need a forever home as the only dog with no cats or kids. Presley is a happy little boy just looking for his forever home where he can play fetch, and be ‘da man’. He will need an experienced owner as he'll need continued consistent behavior training so he can reach his potential of being all he can be.
