Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daphne arrived on 3/6/14, is about a year old and 45 lbs. of joyfulness! She loves everyone she meets, likes kids, too, and enjoys playing with other dogs. (Her boisterous play style may not be appreciated by delicate dogs though.)
Daphne accepts crating (just whined and yodeled her first day in prison), rides pretty well in a car (though she did some whining and even graced me with a melodious howl once!), and accepted her first bath calmly while bathing the handler in kisses. She does not guard food or resources from people, and is good about body handling.
Daphne really enjoys her training sessions, is easily motivated, and is learning quickly.
This confident, friendly and smiley girl is going to make some adopter very happy indeed. A home with older kids would be fine -- her playful puppy mouthing could be too much for little kids. With adults, she's quickly learning that's not a preferred choice.
Daphne is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com.
