Meet Abby! If you look up ‘scruffy’ in the dictionary and you might see a picture of Abby. Abby is a Scotty/Terrier tan/black/silver/white wire hair, 4 year old girl who weighs 25 lbs. She is passionate about her toys, loves to have fun playing fetch and chasing water from the hose when it is running.(See her video on our facebook page at 3rrescue) She gets along great with all people, is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She plays well with other dogs but can be a bit alpha in the beginning which is true to her terrier breeding. Her long wirehair coat brushes out nicely but be prepared that this girl will require regular brushing (which she loves too). Abby is currently enrolled in dog school and doing great. She knows basic commands including sit, down, wait (still working on that) and come. Abby likes kids but still needs some refinement with her 'give or out' command to release her toy so a home with older kids would be best for her. Abby is moderate activity dog so she would thrive in a home that is active. She rides great in the car and loves to go places.
She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643.
