My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isn't this a little cutie? Meet Emma! Emma is a Chihuahua/Pug mix, this breed is also called a "Chug". Emma is adorable and is between 3-4 years old. She is small and weighs in around 15lbs. Emma came to us through a kill shelter. This is terribly sad, people around the country are paying obscene amounts of money for these "designer dogs" and they are already ending up in shelters. Because of the breeds she is mixed with, Emma can look a little grumpy in her pictures, don't let that fool you! This is one sweet little girl! We feel she must have been well cared for at some time. Emma gets along great with other dogs, is fine with cats and loves people, especially women. At times, Emma is a little fearful of men, but in the right situation, we are sure her feelings would change. Emma would love to be out of foster care and in a real home of her very own, hopefully the new year will bring a new beginning for Emma!

Emma has been spayed/sterilized, is current on all yearly vaccinations and has been kept on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Emma is also housetrained.

Emma's adoption fee is $200.00. This donation helps to cover costs of care provided by ACR.
