My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet cute little Missy! This sweet little female purebred Jack Russell Terrier is approximately 5 years old. Missy is small and weighs in close to 15lbs. Missy is shy at first but once she warms up she is bursting with personality! True to the Jack Russell nature, when Missy is outdoors she is always looking for something fun to do! She will always be the first to chase off the occasional rabbit, field mouse, etc that may wonder into the yard. Missy gets along well with other dogs but would do best in a home with no cats. While Missy is indoors she is very laid back and calm, a quiet home would be ideal for her. We have found that Missy prefers the company of women, but a kind man could easily warm his way into her heart. Missy is our second dog that requires heartworm treatment. We are hoping for someone who would sponsor/foster Missy through this process. Please don't wait to offer Missy a loving, forever home.

Missy is spayed/sterilized and current on all yearly vaccinations. She has been kept on flea/tick prevention and has been dewormed. Missy seems to have been pretty neglected at some time as she was also underweight and required some dental work as well. Missy will need to complete heartworm treatment.

Missy's adoption fee is $150.00. This donation help to cover care, including pending heartworm treatment, provided by ACR.
