Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellie is an extremely sweet, super-loving 1.5 year old, 55 lb, blue-brindle lab-pit mix who can adapt to anything you give her! She's great with other dogs, cats (she's interested in them - just a sniff! but she let's the cat beat her in the face with his paws & is completely unfazed, she just wants to say hi in a non-excited fashion!), & kids. She knows many commands already (sit, down, & leave it, if not more that are undiscovered) & is eager to please! She's a quick learner & takes treats very gently. Ellie is very low-energy & honestly just wants to cuddle with her people on the couch - she'd be happy to do that all day, though she loves a game of fetch, or tug or chase with another dog! She's low-maintenance, non-barky (but when she does bark, she sounds like a much larger male dog with her deep voice!), & just looking for love. If you want a lazy couch-puppy who loves to race with her dog-friends around the backyard, this is your girl. Please apply online at www.codrl.org. Ellie's adoption fee is $150 to help with vetting.
Central Ohio Dog Rescue is not a shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in our homes and treated as family until they are adopted. We will not ship dogs and all adopters will need to complete an application before meeting one of our dogs. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered will be adopted out with a spay/neuter agreement and refundable deposit. Dogs/puppies are NOT adopted out of state without a positive vet reference. Prospective adopters must be at least 24 years of age to adopt. All pets in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm. We process many applications and may not respond to every applicant. We try to chose the best home for each dog based upon the individual dog's needs. Please check out our website for additional information: www.codrl.org
