My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you met Ted? He’s a fun, laid back guy who just wants to settle down with a nice family. He’s easy to please, and would be happy napping all day or going for a long walk in the woods. He loves being outside, but that doesn’t stop him from relaxing and enjoying himself inside. He also loves his toys, and is very pleased with himself when he snags one. He has nice manners, too. He knows how to sit and wait for his meals and at doorways, is getting the hang of Down very quickly, will touch your hand when asked (to focus his attention on you if needed), and is polite when walking on a leash. He also likes to play with his dog friends and doesn’t get worked up, even in large groups of dogs that all want to play. He enjoys socializing, but doesn’t require it on a daily basis to stay happy and calm. He does well riding in a car and crated when left alone, and gets along with cats and children, though he would appreciate an appropriate introduction if he’ll be living with them. This handsome guy has never met a stranger. Although he loves everybody, he’d love for you to come meet him and see if you could be the one he’s looking for.

Ted's in the final stage of his heartworm treatment and should be ready for his new home by the end of August. Hooray!
