Meet Marvin! Marvin is a very sweet and lovable neutered 8 month old boy with a huge heart and a comical face. Marvin’s big and long Roman nose, canines that hang out of his mouth slightly under his lips, white armpit hairs, long gangly legs, and ears that curl back at the tips like an American curl breed make him the most comical and endearing character. OK maybe Im being a little bit too hard on his looks because as you can see from his pictures his rather odd features make him adorable! Other than his comical features he does have a very handsome sleek super shiny black coat, all dressed up with a fancy white neck tie, and large white spot on his belly (dont forget the white armpit hairs too). Along with some odd but endearing looks he also has an odd but endearing personality traits. Marvin tends to bond very strongly and loyally to his owner. With this soul mate he demonstrates dog-like loyalty and showering them with kitty kisses, following them around, and telling them how much he loves them. Marvin has an enjoyable, sweet, quiet voice but does like to have conversations with you about his day. Oddly enough Marvin only holds conversations when there is an audience to listen and respond and we have found him very polite; he never meows loudly nor cries for no reason such as in the middle of the night or when you leave him alone(he has good kitty manners). Marvin is very mellow for an 8 month old but has his moments of kittenish play mainly when he spies wiggly toes under the blankets, an interesting button on your shirt, or a swinging necklace when you lean down to pet him. His favorite toy is by far the laser light! Marvin is also, oddly enough, trained to give high 5s on command. Check out his high 5s here:

My day wouldn't be half as nice without him giving me my daily kitty kiss. Most of the time he will freely give these kisses out if asked as you can see in the video. In the case of the video Marvin was a bit confused because the camera was in the way! Watch the video and then tell me he doesn't understand English!

Marvin would make a very suitable pet for a small apartment and also does fine left alone while you work. Here is Marvin following me like a dog when I got home.

Marvin is absolutely extraordinarily fantastic with other cats, likes them the instant he meets them, and would be perfect choice for a home with another cat buddy to play and cuddle and to keep them company while you are away. Marvin has lived with dogs in his foster home and once he gets to know them does great and tends to ignore them. Marvin is a sucker for people who are gentle, soft spoken, and hand out kitty treats. :) He is very cautious with people he has never met. He would be best in a quiet home.
If you are of that gentle, quiet, soft spoken variety, dont mind a kitty with some unique comical looks, and need stimulating conversation of the 4 legged kind, a few kitty kisses, or your kitty needs a best friend that is a no-brainer to introduce to each other then you have found the perfect kitty!
