Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
High Tide is aprox 1 year old filly. She is a beautiful dark grey with stunning grey eyes. High Tide stands for the farrier, is halter trained and leads. She is very interested in everything you do. High Tide would make a great addition to any family and really wants to please.
As High Tide has grown, we've noticed she has a small hernia in her belly button area. Her adoption fee will be waved once her adopter donates for her hernia surgery (cost is comparable). essentially you pay the adoption fee and it goes directly toward her surgery which will be preformed by our wonderful vet.
Adoption fee: $400.00
High Tide is currently about 14.2 and growing all the time. Her mother is 15 hands with a slight build, and we suspect she is ranch bred. If we had to guess, we think she'll grow to be about 15-15.2 hands and be an agile horse.
High Tide arrived in Sept 2013 to the Refuge from the Madera livestock auction where she was rescued by Auction Horse Rescue, with her mother River who is a permanent resident at the Refuge due to a shoulder injury.
