Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 03/20/2014: Hi everypuppy! My name is Cinda! I am between 8-10 years young, and I am being fostered in Miami, FL. I weigh a mere 6.5 lbs. Now, you might remember a pretty sad looking picture of me from when I was first rescued. Well, let me tell you, that's not me anymore! Just check out my beautiful coat! It's coming in so nicely. I had sooooo many fleas when foster momma rescued me that my body had an allergy to them. No more fleas = no more allergies! Don't I look purty? Like Cinda-rella!
In any case, here's what you need to know about me. First of all, I am a spunky little chick. I LOVE walks and can walk faster than my foster momma! She says that's pretty fast because she needs sneakers to keep up with me! I love fetch! I love snuggling and belly rubs. I really don't love other dogs. Foster mom isn't sure if it's me or if it's the fact that I don't see so well that scares me. So please, if you adopt me, can I be your one and only??
I have an appointment with an eye specialist on Saturday because I have what's called a luxated lens. My lens (the thingy people and dogs get cataracts in) is not in the right place. The issue is it could lead to other problems if not taken care of.... so we are gonna check it out :)
We will keep you posted! lots of puppy kisses! xo - Cinda
UPDATED BIO 2/1/2014: Cinda here! For those of you who don't know me, I am a 10 year old 6 lb little Princess (named after Cinderella!) who is being fostered in Port Richey, FL. I was rescued from a high kill shelter with a pretty bad case of flea allergy dermatitis. Nope, it's not catchy! I just had SO many fleas that I was scratching and scratching and scratching and lost some hair. Never fear, though! My hair will grow back! I am doing quite well, and my FM and FD love me :)
I am housetrained (though every once in a while I forget and poop on the floor at night........ but that's my foster mom and dad's fault they say. :) They need to take me on a long walk to poo!). I LOVE WALKS! I love people and kisses and love my squeaky stuffed animal!
I am ready to go to my forever home. My only issue is I have a cataract in one eye and a luxated lens in the other. That means my vision isn't so great, but I do get around so well and can play fetch (if it doesn't go too far! lol). I would really like a FURever home. Could it be you? xoxo - Cinda
INITIAL BIO 1/20/14: Meet Cinda (short for Cinderella!)! Cinda is a sweet little 6 lb 10 year old girl who was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Florida. She is being fostered in Miami. Cinda was brought to the shelter with severe flea infestation which has led to flea allergic dermatitis. As a result, Cinda has lost much of her hair and has secondary skin infections.
All we know about Cinda so far is that she is super sweet. She loves walks and cuddle time! Cinda is also 100% housetrained. No accidents for this little lady. Also, Cinda has some cataracts. Her vision isn't perfect, but she gets around perfectly fine! It will be at least a month before she is ready for adoption. Why not be her knight in shining armor??
