My story

Look at this smiling face! Checkers is just so happy to have been rescued and out of pain since his horrible accident. He came to us approximately two months after having been hit by a car and left suffering with an untreated broken leg. His bone had been exposed since the accident and he had a massive infection requiring us to remove the leg. His indomitable spirit is obvious to anyone who meets him. Checkers just loves people of all ages and even though he has only 3 legs he loves to go for long walks and enjoys his play time. Checkers thrives in a calm environment with lots of exercise. He is so sweet and his missing limb doesn’t slow him down one bit. Checkers is a Dalmatian mix, approximately 1 year old and medium sized, weighing 44 pounds. Neutered, Dewormed & Vaccinated. All you need to do is meet him and he will win you over with his love.
