Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We love Timber!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timber is the most laid back, calmest, sweetest, chunkiest, brownest, most fantastic Britt in the whole wide world! At almost seven years old, Timber is completely house trained, extremely well behaved, and just wants a home he can relax in. His only requirement for a forever home is unconditional love and lots of kisses. As his foster mom, my requirements are a bit stricter...
The pefect home for Timber would include:
A loving, active owner who would take Timber for lots of walks and give him lots of exercise. (Timber is obese weighing in at over 55 pounds).
An atmosphere of relative calm where he could nap, eat, cuddle, and play without too much other commotion. (He is relatively shy and although very gentle, he gets spooked by too much noise).
A family that is comfortable with putting a dog on a restrictive diet (No treats or table scraps for Timber).
A mom/dad that is home a lot and can spend time hanging out with Big T. (Our little nickname for him). He doesn't like to be alone.
If you qualify, please contact Lindsay Levine at ilyse@umich.edu or fill out an adoption application . We can't wait to meet you!
