Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TWIN CITIES, MINNESOTA - Bandit came into rescue with Mutts & More as an owner surrender on March 2nd. Her momma of 11 years had to move into assisted living, and the facility did not accept dogs.
Bandit is an 11 year-old English Spaniel, lab and terrier mix. She is a healthy weight of 35 pounds.
Bandit is almost totally deaf. She is sometimes startled by loud noises, such as dogs barking and hand claps. We will ask that she go to a quieter home with a fully-fenced yard.
Bandit has an old knee injury to her cruciate ligament, but any discomfort is well-managed and it does not slow her down. There may be days when she limps a bit when she first gets up in the morning, but, as her joints warm up, any sign of a limp go away. Currently, Bandit receives a prednisone injection every few months to manage the inflammation in her knee and she also takes a joint supplement.
Bandit gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, but she will chase cats. She has not lived with small children. She enjoys snuggling up to her person on the couch for a quiet day, or chasing in the back yard on the sun. She is fully house-trained and sleeps peacefully throughout the night.
If you are interested in providing a foster or adoptive home for Bandit, please contact us at info@muttsandmore.org.
