My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Talli is a very sweet mixed breed pup who would love a home of her own! She is about 7-8 months old and is a true gem. She listens very well and loves her people very much. She is one to stick closely and follow you around instead of going and doing her own thing. Talli knows the 'sit' command and learns very quickly. She is a submissive girl and would be just fine with another dog. Very hyper or pushy dogs are not recommended, as they will be too much for her. She is a bit too playful for cats/kittens though, so she needs a home with no cats. She will be a large dog when she is grown and is already a fairly good size for her age.

Talli and her sister (Tessa) were rescued when they were abandoned and started exploring too closely to the road. One of our volunteers saw them almost get hit by an eighteen wheeler and called immediately. We were able to rescue them from the old garage they had been calling home and boy, have these scared little girls come a long way!

Talli has been fully vetted (spayed, had her rabies shot, had all puppy (DHLPP) shots, and is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention) and is ready to go! She will also be microchipped prior to adoption. She is estimated to be a pit mix by our vet and is definitely a unique looking gal.
