My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl was found strolling down the main highway in town. The temps were dropping to single digits so thankfully she didn't make it difficult on me. I simply opened the car door, smooched to her and she came and jumped in the car. Unfortunately she had no id and her owners never came forward so she ended up in rescue. But this is where her luck changes. Now she's getting regular meals, vet care and even sleeps in the bed with the humans sometimes. She gets along with all the other dogs ranging from 14 pounds to 120 pounds and the cats. She's freaked out by the horses a little though...lol This girl is very smart. She sits without being told and does a few tricks to boot. She is very loving and will make a great addition to any family.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
