My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker is an almost 9 week old Black Labrador and Kelpie mix. He may have a splash of Australian Cattledog in there also. He was brought to the shelter with his brother in a cardboard box as a stray. He waited 5 days for his person to show up and they never did so he is now here at Shine On Animal Rescue.

Tucker is a spunky boy. He is assertive and confident. He gets right in the middle of the rough and tumble with the big dogs. He plays well with his brother and our house dogs. He is very interested in the cats, and is learning not to tackle them. He will follow our chickens but hasn't chased them. Hes very curious. He sticks his head in ever nook and cranny it will fit.

Tucker is enjoying the clicker training and is responding nicely to it. He is working on sit for meals.

He is going to be a on the medium side as an adult. He weighed in at 9 lbs at 8 weeks old. Tucker would do best in a home who has time to raise a well rounded dog.

Tuckers adoption fee is $200 which helps cover deworming, flea treatment (if needed), first dose of heartworm preventative, neuter (when old enough), vaccinations, and microchip.
