My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is June Bug! I am a true pocket pit-fully grown at just 23lbs. I am a 3 ½ year old female with a loving, fun personality. I LOVE to be around people and playing with my ball. I can’t wait until I find my forever home, seeing as how I was in a loving home for most of my life, then my family lost their home due to Hurricane Sandy and they could not keep me any longer. So, I have been living without a home for over a year now.
Although I am small, I have the personality of a big dog. I love to run, jump and play rough (in a fun way) with other dogs so the best home would be one with older children and other pets that also like to roughhouse. I walk great on a leash and have a lot of energy so I can walk several miles. I would also be a great hiking partner! Even though I have a lot of energy I am a great cuddler and will settle right down on your lap. Because I am teeny you can carry me like a baby…which I LOVE!
Because I have been in a kennel for quite some time I have lost my manners, but am very smart and will learn quickly and am very eager to please.
I am fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworn negative as well as on monthly prevention, and have been spayed.
