Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING - This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to the Del Norte County Animal Shelter to help with adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog please contact the shelter directly - their info is below.
Are you ready for a new furry friend that will keep you on your toes? Mary Anne is the dog for you! This sweet 2-year old Labrador is always ready for a good time--she thinks that everything is a game--and would love it if you could open up your home to her wild and crazy spirit! In January 2014, Mary Anne was found chasing chickens with a now-fellow Del Norte shelter dog when someone called animal control. Since then, Mary Anne has been desperately searching high and low for her forever family.
Due to her love of the outdoors and high-energy, volunteers believe that Mary Anne has spent the majority of her life outside. She is not properly trained, but she is SO smart and eager to please. Because of this, we are confident that Mary Anne can be easily trained if someone will dedicate the time and energy to her.
Mary Anne is a social gal, as she adores playing with other dogs. However, she can sometimes let her excitement get the best of her; making her an unlikely candidate for a family with children. Being the typical Lab that she is, Mary Anne loves to play in the water and mud. She is also very motivated by treats and toys; another attribute that will make her easily trainable!
If you’re dog saavy and ready for some fun, consider opening your home to Miss Mary Anne. She will be forever grateful for your love and dedication!
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member! *Please note that occasionally there are volunteers who can assist with transporting the dog from the shelter to Grants Pass/Eugene/Salem/Portland*
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
