Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sprout -- female ferret about four years old, house trained, spayed, descented. Preference will be given to a home where she does not have to be confined to a cage much or at all.
Sprout is very active and playful. She likes to wrestle with your hand. She also likes to chase and be chased by you. She loves to play in tubes and in the rice box.
She is an alpha female and can be aggressive with many ferrets. She's probably better in a home without any other ferrets.
She doesn't mind being held, which is really unusual for ferrets. Just don't try to hold her when she's in play mode! She is pretty good about going to newspaper in the same spot.
She has adrenal disease and is having surgery soon to remove the adrenal gland. After that, she will need to get a melatonin implant every four months, starting in April, to keep the right adrenal gland from being affected. I do the implants for $40.
$35 - adoption fees help pay the rescue vet bills. There is an adoption process. She does NOT come with a cage, though I sell cages pretty cheap. She does come with enough food and soup for two weeks, bedding and some Ferretone. I sell other supplies cheap, including: water bottles, litter pans, leashes, harnesses, shampoo, food, sleep sacks, hammocks, nail trimmers, Ferretone, etc.
