My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a sweet 5-6 year old, 12 lb, sweetheart. Jasper was surrendered by his family, when things got a bit hectic with family issues and housing. Jasper was confused, having been passed around from family member to family member!

Jasper is 100% pee pad trained. While that is awesome, he was never taken outside to potty and this is the ONLY way he knows to potty. We have worked with him, but he will hold it for as long as it takes, until he gets to his pee pad.

He had little to no harness/leash training, but being the smart, eager to please boy that he is; he now walks like a little gentleman on a harness. He loves to play with toys and explore every level of his domain, that he can hop onto or up to. And he LOVES to play with other pups with the energy to keep up.

Jasper does have epilepsy, so will need an experienced dachshund owner to ensure that he receives his medication twice a day (pill), without fail; and, has annual blood work done to ensure for his needs, in that regard.

Jasper is a beautiful, playful boy that needs a family. He loves kids and would do well with a family that has kids that like to toss balls and toys for Jasper.
