Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey they call me DJ! I hear I am named after an awesome guy who unfortunately was taken from us too soon, but his family and friends donated money so my life could be saved from the local shelter where I came in as a stray. I am about a year old, I act like a lazy teenager most of the time, but don’t let that fool you because I love my daily playtime and walks. Speaking of walks, I am a really good boy on the leash…I don’t pull and I pay attention to my foster mom. I am housetrained, very gentle with treats and I love to give Pittie kisses! I get along great with small and big dogs, new friends are so cool! I am not perfect though, I do not like my crate. I prefer to be with my foster family, but I am such a good boy that the crate hasn’t been needed. I love to share my toys with my foster sisters; we have so much fun together. I have learned sit and I am learning new commands each day. My foster mom says I am her easiest foster yet! I am looking for my forever home; I will bring so many smiles and laughter to you and your family. If you would like to learn more about me or meet me, please contact my friends at adopt@ocpbr.org
