Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi There! My Name is Kaylee, and I am a 6 month old Purebred sweet as honey boxer girl! I was rescued from neglect/backyard breeder situation- I lived in cage for first 4+ months of my life...But I holds no grudges against anyone, I make friends easily and I am told I am a very smart loving little sweetie-pie. I have been spayed and utd on shots. I was taught basic commands, sit, down, situp, stay and is completely housebroken and used to playing with other dogs here in my foster home, and I am also good with cats.
Anyone interested in adopting me is strongly advised to enroll in obedience class because as a young happy bouncy boxer I need to learn how to walk without pulling on a leash and a firm set of boundaries. Kaylee Loves everyone, and has a hard time containing her exuberance often jumping into peoples laps and licking their faces...This is cute, but not something that should be allowed at her whim, but when her 'people' invite her- this is why we are saying 'obedience class' for her and her forever family. We want her to get off to the right start wherever she goes so that there will not be future problems...she is still growing and what is cute at 35 # will not be cute in a few months if she should grow to be 60#.
We take very seriously the special dogs who come into our rescue and are very particular whom they are adopted to. Prospective homes will be verified via application, reference check, home interview etc. Please note, we are small volunteer group and it may take a few days to hear back - our priority is always getting dogs out of danger at kill shelters because they die without our immediate action.
If you are interested in applying to adopt, please keep in mind, we have many more dogs then we have time/photos/volunteer hours to post, and sometimes a dog already has adoption pending or was already adopted before we can remove add or process all the applications...for this reason- please don't get your heart set on just one dog, yes apply for whom you prefer but if dog isn't available or we deem it not a good fit for you we will let you know of other boxers (or mixes) whom we have in foster care who we think would be a great companion/family member for you.
We place dogs according to who best matches 'the dog's needs' not fist come first adopt. these babies have been through enough already and we want to make sure they are placed in best possible home for them to live long happy lives.
