My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apple is a 1-2 year old Holland Lop with a very entertaining personality! We started calling her Apple because she loves to eat apples and goes crazy over them. She is a very happy girl that loves to be pet as well as run around the house doing 'binkies'. Apple was surrendered to Newark Animal Shelter in November due to unknown reasons, and came into our rescue just before Thanksgiving. She is such a wonderful rabbit that is very comfortable around children as well other animals. As soon as she sees us come into the room she will jump up to get our attention and is so excited. We are working on litter-training her as she was just spayed not too long ago and she is on the right track, but not completely litter-trained yet. We believe she would be able to catch on to using a litter-box in a cage-free setup very quickly. She does well with being picked up, and will jump into your lap if you are sitting ground level with her. Apple was spayed very recently and she is in wonderful health. Please consider coming by to meet or adopt Apple if you are looking for another furry family member.
