My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Trinity and as you can see I am an adorable little 5 month old Japanese Chin puppy. I came into rescue on 1/15/14 with my 3 1/2 year old mother. Our family could no longer take care of us. I am pretty small, but my previous owner said I am good with kids. After being checked out by the vet, I was diagnosed with severe bilateral luxating patellas, which means my back legs will not stay in the joint at the knees. I am being checked out by the Orthopedic Surgeon on 2/5/14, in order to determine the best time to have my legs fixed, since I am so young and still growing. I am doing great on housetraining and will be placed on a medical hold until the rescue can determine my care plan after my consultation with the surgeon. I am a super sweet and easy puppy to have around, however the rescue is working on raising the funds to help with my surgery since it is pretty expensive. More updates coming soon.
