My story

This sweet rescue is one of our more heart wrenching stories. Beso is no longer a puppy and, as often happens, he was callously thrown out into the streets to fend for himself. When we found him he was living in a potted plant on the street. This poor boy really deserves some love during the last half of his life. As you can see in the photo, he was sick, malnourished and missing much of his hair when he came to our sanctuary. Today he is healthy and happy if a bit shy at first. Once he is given some TLC however, he warms right up. He would make a loving companion animal for someone looking for a more mature pet who fits perfectly in one’s lap. Beso is a Chihuahua and at around 8 years old he weighs only 5.5 pounds.
