Diamonds really are a girls best friend! And in this case, Diamond is a sweet little pit bull type dog who’s waiting to wiggle her way into your heart and be your best friend for the rest of her life!
Diamond is a 9 month old, 46 pound, American Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s searching for her forever hom in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Diamond’s foster mom took her in after she was surrendered to a veterinary office when she was hit by a car at just 7 months old. Because of her accident, Diamond had to have her right hind leg amputated. But don’t tell her that, because she doesn’t even notice! Diamond acts and feels just like a normal four legged puppy, she doesn’t let a small handicap like having three legs slow her down, not even a little bit!
Diamond is an active girl, just like most puppies. She loves to play with everyone, dogs, children and all other people. Diamond hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. She even likes dogs that don’t seem to like her very much! She is definitely a well socialized girl who would do well in just about any home. Diamond isn’t quite sure how she feels about cats yet, she doesn’t quite know what they are. If she were to go to her new forever home with any feline friends, she would need a very slow introduction and lots of patience. She loves her squeaky toys, her Kongs, belly rubs and loooooves to be loved and get attention! She is truly a one of a kind dog, one you will be happy to have in your life. She is potty trained and crate trained, she even knows how to sleep in her crate all night if you prefer, but she also wouldn’t mind cuddling with you and laying by your side each night too! Diamond is learning a few manners but could use some help with recall (which she will love to spend some time with you and some delicious treats learning to perfect!)
Diamond is a wonderful girl who is ready to find her wonderful forever home! She’s a wonderful little pup with a full life ahead of her. All she needs is a family to share her life with now.
