COOKIE: This gentle and quiet girl, who was abandoned, is the ultimate companion, as she is friendly and social without being demanding. She's easy-going and loves attention, but she doesn't require it all the time. She is not a cat that likes to be carried around, but she is happy to sit in your lap while you watch TV, and she's not picky about what you watch. She likes to sleep on the bed, but she isn't going to pester you while you're sleeping. She doesn't need to help you do things; she is happy to supervise you while you do all the work. She loves toys, especially soft toys and wands, and is happy to play with you or on her own. This 2- or 3-year-old is just a mellow girl and a great companion who likes to be near her people. Her gorgeous coat is beautiful and low-maintenance, and she has the most gentle face. In keeping with her easy-going personality, her attitude about other animals is "whatever:" she can take them or leave them. No young kids for this unassuming girl. WAG only accepts applications from New Hampshire residents and from residents of communities in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts that are on the New Hampshire border.
