Minnie is a pit bull puppy who was rescued in the second-largest dog fighting bust in U.S. history. She's known as one of the #367 dogfighting survivors, and after 9 weeks at the HSUS temporary holding facility she has been released by the courts and has made her way to Jasmine's House and is now waiting in foster care for her forever family! Minnie is playful and super-sweet! She's done phenomenally well with all of her new experiences since she left the shelter.
Minnie's ideal adoptive family is in an established home with a fenced yard, and if there's another dog she'd love it to be a dog-social male dog for her to grow up with; kids are fine for Minnie, too! We're looking to find her a home with pit bull or other working dog experience; and one that's willing to pursue her Canine Good Citizen certification and allow her to participate in a sport such as agility, or fly ball as she'd likely do well at either. Minnie may also make a fantastic therapy dog when she matures.
