Koya is an 11 pound Colorado dachshund sweetheart. Her age may say "senior", but, she has the energy and moxy of a 5 year old. Koya means 'Be Happy' and she is, especially, if she has a toy, or snuggled under a blanket, cuddled up to her human and most of all if she is going for a walk or a car ride. Koya is house trained and she knows how to use a doggy-door. She likes everyone including children and is good with other dogs and cats too. Sadly, Koya's former owner who had her since she was a puppy could no longer keep her, but, Koya is ready to keep on giving her love and loyalty to a new family.
