My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mesa is a 4 year old female spayed great dane. She went into rescue after her original owners seperated. She is a sweet, playful girl who loves toys and human attention. She is an eye catcher at our meet and greets and often will nuzzle her head into anyone who will scratch it. Mesa is incredibly smart and learns quckly. Her foster mom give her massage therapy every night and Mesa loves it. She is sweet and gentle and not to mention a real looker! Don't let the fact that she is 4 deter you from her. She is loving and loyal girl that deserves to have a forever family that will love her and care for the way her foster family has.

Mesa used to be significantly overweight and both of her anterior cruciate ligaments were ruptured. She had bilateral tibial tuberousity advancements about six months ago and has recovered well. She needs to be on glucosamine and to remain trim.Althought Mesa is as fit as a fiddle now, we do feel that it would be in her best interest to go to an owner that has Great Dane experience or experience with giant breeds.
