My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MIA: YOUNG AND LOVES TO CUDDLE.

Mia is a 7-8 month female terrier mix with an adorable thick and short build which makes her almost irresistible to squeeze and cuddle….and thankfully she just melts whenever she is lucky enough to have a volunteer shower her with affection and squeezes! She does have some normal older puppy behaviors like being a little bit jumpy on her leash and wanting to chew on her toys but she is extremely attentive and mindful to her human handler and will give you a sit or a down immediately when asked to do so and will also release any 'mischievous" item she has taken with only sweet and apologetic eyes and never anything obnoxious. She is very interested in other dogs playing and although it appears she does not have too much experience yet, we really look forward to letting her get playtime in with our older experienced male dogs who can show her the ropes. In her evaluation, she would not stop following one of our goofy males around after the initial introduction and wanted to keep on interacting which was great to see. When she was put into the yard with one of the trainers children, she chose to lay down on her lap instead of running zooms all over the place which tells you a lot about how truly sweet her temperament is. Most dogs when given the option, would run like crazy but Mia craved closeness. It would be a shame for her to spend these really important developmental months alone in a kennel so please consider coming in to meet our sweetheart Mia and perhaps making her a part of a real family. She should really adapt to most home situations and has been spayed and vaccinated so is ready to go……...
