My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macy is a 15 week old female tri-headed white collie. This beautiful girl came to us from a shelter where she was surrendered through no fault of her own because the family’s child was allergic to her.
Macy is a very well socialized, bouncy, happy, curious and extremely smart little girl who loves everyone she meets. Chasing a ball and bringing it back to her foster mom is one of her favorite past times! Having a big toy box in her forever home will be a must because her favorite pastime is to take each one of those toys out of her box and you will find them just about anywhere!
Macy learned the doggie door in a snap and her housebreaking is going very well. She enjoys the company of another dog to play with when her humans need a break. She is learning her basic commands and is walking well on leash.
Collies are extremely intelligent and very loyal and make wonderful family companions. Macy will need mental as well as physical stimulation so preference will be given to applicants who either work out of their home or with one adult who is home full time. Because collies are a herding breed and will try to steer your movement, we will not place a collie puppy with children under the age of 8 years old.
