Sweep is a beautiful black and white Border Collie. He was turned into the shelter along with another family pet because the owners could no longer care for them. It must have been a heartbreaking thing for them to do and for him to experience. Like many Border Collies, this young guy just loves to be with his people. He enjoyed the company of many volunteer drivers on his way to CT and received rave reviews for his outgoing nature and sweet temperament. He is learning about leash walking and basic obedience and will need that training to be continued in his new home. He is housetrained, gets along well with other dogs and may chase a cat if tempted. Sweep is about 2 years old, has been neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations, he is Heartworm negative and is on flea/tick and Heartworm prevention.
Sweep is being fostered in Lebanon, CT.
