My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Effie is an older dog with a calm, relaxed manner. She loves to hang around and gets along well with the other small dogs here at the shelter. She appears healthy and happy. She tested positive for heartworms so we have been treating her for this with antibiotics & she is tolerating the treatment well. We will retest her for heartworms January 13th and hopefully she will be negative at that time. She rarely has accidents in the shelter but she is otherwise very easy to care for. We would love to give this great girl a forever home.
