Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Huxley was found with his sister on the side of the road eating a deer carcass, then made it safely to our county shelter. His sister was adopted, leaving him terrified & alone so he just curled up in the far end of his kennel. The other puppies at the shetler would be quickly adopted since they were all clamboring for attention, but this scared boy was getting passed up by adopters. Our rescue took him in Dec 5th and he's quickly adjusting to life inside the home in foster care. Vet estimates him to be 12 weeks old (roughly born mid-Sept 2013), and he weighs in at 11.6 lbs. We think he's a Lab/Shepherd mix, likely to be medium sized when full grown. Huxley is now learning all about playing with a big dog, and being nice to the kitties & chickens at his foster home. His adoptive home will need a fenced yard so he can have room to run & play. He won't be neutered until after Christmas, so cannot go to an adoptive home until then...but we're happy to take adoption applications, just email ccarescue@gmail.com
